Meet Matt

Matt is a distinguished investment analyst with expertise spanning more than twenty years in equity and debt markets across the private and public sectors.

Specialising in transport, infrastructure, microeconomics, and government policy, Matt has made significant contributions to the field, notably as the former head of CBA’s Industrials super-sector research team. Recognised for his exceptional skills in stock picking, Matt has consistently ranked in the top three in major market surveys, earning a reputation for his analytical prowess.

His career took an entrepreneurial turn as the CEO and co-owner of Victory Funding — an innovative lending company. Under his leadership, the company flourished with a $14m annual turnover and 2,500 loans, highlighting his ability to drive growth and innovation. Today, as the General Manager and CFO of Bowery, Matt is responsible for overseeing our commercial and operational facets, including treasury, transaction syndication, and investor relations.

Beyond the boardroom, Matt enjoys bushwalking, cooking for family and friends, and unwinding with AFL (always cheering for the Bombers!).
